The last time the kids wanted waffles for breakfast, we were down to the last bit of flour, which wouldn’t make enough to feed all of us. I remembered someone telling me about Cake Waffles once so I thought that this would be the perfect time to try them out. It seemed simple enough with only four ingredients and they actually turned out really well!
1. Heat your waffle iron 2. Make the cake batter using the mix, water, oil and eggs. Mix well with a spatula. (This is a simple enough recipe that you can even get the kids to help out) 3. Spray your waffle iron generously with cooking spray to ensure the batter doesn't stick to it. 4. Pour batter into the waffle iron. Be generous with the batter because if there's not enough, the waffle will be too thin and it will stick to the iron. (At least that's what happened to me.) Follow the cooking instructions for your waffle iron. 5. Serve and eat. If you want, you can top them with fruit or cool whip or you can just eat them alone, which is what we did. They even tasted great later on in the day as a snack.Cake Waffles Recipe
